How do I install the device?
We strongly recommend that you use a professional installer. Please refer to the Installation Page for more details.

What is a location report?
A location report is the position data as it is reported back from the device.

Why is it that sometimes I do not get a report?
A device may be located in an area where there is not enough skylight visibility and the satellite signal is not reaching the device, or the device has no wireless coverage.

How do I download my existing location reports?
You may bring down the data by clicking on the “Archive function” and select the download format.

How will my Skypatrol® device be shipped to me??
All shipments are processed through FedEx. An estimated delivery cost is estimated using the national average. Once the customer inputs their information and selects their desired delivery method, the shipping cost is automatically updated based on their zip code. The following shipping methods and estimated delivery times are available:
  - Standard Overnight: Delivered at aproximatelly 3:00PM the Next Day
  - Second Day: Delivered at aproximatelly 4:30PM Two Days Later
  - Express Saver: Delivered at aproximatelly 4:30PM on the Third Day
  - Ground: At the end of the Third Business Day

Do I have to pay a Sales Tax when purchasing a Skypatrol Device?
Sales tax applies to the state where the merchandise is being shipped. Since Skypatrol® LLC is registered to conduct business throughout the United States, sales tax must be added to your order at your local sales tax rate, where applicable.

How do I see a receipt for my online purchase?
As soon as you make an order and it is confirmed, a receipt will be automatically generated and displayed on screen. If you have provided us with the correct email address, you will also receive a copy to your email. You will also be notified, by email, when the product has been shipped. Please note that some web email accounts (i.e. Yahooo and MSN) have different rules for recognizing emails and may redirect our mail to the spam/trash folders.
